Application Developer – AI Nutrition App

Join an exciting project to develop NutriaX, a mobile application designed to revolutionize smart nutrition through advanced AI and machine learning. The app will empower users to analyze meals via photos or label scans, track calories and nutrients, monitor weight progression, set personalized goals, and receive hydration reminders. The focus is on delivering a seamless, intuitive, and visually appealing user experience with a modern minimalist design. You will play a key role in assessing the technical feasibility, estimating the MVP, and shaping the launch timeline for this innovative personal project, with the potential for long-term collaboration. All work can be completed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze the comprehensive project specifications, including features, technical architecture, and design requirements
• Develop and implement AI/ML-powered features for meal recognition and nutritional analysis from images and label scans
• Build core app functionalities: calorie and nutrient tracking, weight monitoring, goal setting, and hydration reminders
• Ensure a modern, minimalist, and user-friendly interface in line with provided design references
• Collaborate on technical feasibility assessments and provide detailed MVP estimates and launch timelines
• Integrate third-party APIs and ensure data security and privacy compliance
• Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly throughout the project
  
  

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms
• Strong expertise in AI/ML, particularly in image recognition and data analysis
• Proficiency with relevant frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Core ML, React Native, Flutter)
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to deliver visually appealing, intuitive interfaces
• Experience integrating APIs and managing secure data storage
• Ability to assess project feasibility, estimate MVP scope, and suggest realistic timelines
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
