Senior IOS Engineer
You will be a joining a reputable consultancy, who is looking to stand-up a native mobile engineering squad to deliver a number key initiatives for their end-client.
- Role: Senior IOS engineer.
- Company: Consultancy (Financial Services Client)
- Contract length: Initial 6-12 months with the view to extend.
- Office location: Melbourne CBD.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid.
- Contract rate: $900 - $1,000 p/d inclusive of super.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions adhering to best practices.
- Actively participate in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC), collaborating closely with cross-functional agile teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, automated testing, and mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills and productivity.
Experience required:
- Extensive iOS Development Experience: Over 5 years of native iOS app development using Swift, with strong expertise in UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Graphics, and Swift Concurrency.
- Architecture & Design Patterns: Skilled in architecting complex iOS solutions using MVVM and MVP patterns; familiar with Combine and functional/reactive programming.
- UI/UX & Accessibility: Solid understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, UI design, and accessibility best practices.
- Operational & Agile Experience: Experienced in DevOps, Agile methodologies, and production issue resolution; known for delivering practical solutions on time.
- Tool Proficiency & Collaboration: Proficient with GitHub, Figma, Jira, Confluence; has a proven ability to drive process improvements and collaborate effectively.
