We are seeking a highly experienced IT UX/UI Designer to join our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area.

As an IT UX/UI Designer (EL 1) who has experience as a Design System Lead, you will play a key role in leading a high performing, multi-disciplinary agile team dedicated to transforming digital experiences relied upon by millions of Australians. You will provide exemplary leadership and foster collaborative partnerships to deliver solutions that enhance the usability of digital user experiences, contributing to achieving meaningful outcomes. You’ll work on diverse, impactful projects that shape how Australians engage with the tax system.

You will use your extensive expertise in Enterprise Design Systems and UX/UI to shape innovative, user-focused products and services that simplify complex processes, making them more intuitive and accessible. You’ll ensure quality outputs for a team including the development of specialist, professional or technical expertise and conduct regular quality assurance of work area processes and manage identified risks.

You will work with our business partners across the ATO to support and enhance the user experience for corporate channels including ATO online services, ATO app and other microsites and websites.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Brisbane CBD, Canberra or Melbourne CBD.
