A growing fintech company is seeking a UI/UX Developer to join the software engineering team and play a key role in designing and delivering intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging digital experiences. You'll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to translate business needs into elegant, user-centred solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and deliver user interfaces that are both visually appealing and functional.
• Conduct user research, create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into user-focused designs.
• Implement high-quality, responsive front-end components using React and Material UI.
• Upgrade and refactor legacy applications to improve performance and scalability.
• Maintain design consistency, accessibility, and adherence to modern UI/UX standards.
• Contribute to the design system and component library for reusability and brand alignment.
• Work cross-functionally with backend, QA, and product teams in an Agile environment.

Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, and Material UI.
• Hands-on experience upgrading or migrating Material UI applications.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Redux, RESTful APIs, Git, and modern front-end pipelines.
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of UX research methodologies and applying insights to design.
