Senior WordPress/PHP Engineer

Our client provides leading technology and services to the golf industry across the United States and Great Britain, including software that manages tee sheets, points of sale, and reservation services — all focused on delivering a great experience for golf players and smooth operations for golf courses.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in WordPress development.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing custom plugins.
  • Strong skills in PHP.
  • Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (nice to have).
  • Experience with Gutenberg blocks.
  • Upper-intermediate English level (B2+).

Nice to have:

  • Experience building Headless WordPress applications.
  • Familiarity with React 17, GraphQL, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Understanding of performance optimization and scalable architecture principles.
