Role Description
Equities Operations spans multiple business units within the Corporate Investment Bank, including: Global Clearing, Equities Derivatives Group, Cash Equities, Prime Cash, Synthetics, and Stock Borrow Loan.
The Equities Operations Transformation team manages the end-to-end implementation of projects from industry-driven change, regulatory rules, and business initiatives globally.
In this role, team members will interface daily with counterparts in Equities Business, Technology, Product Development, Finance, and Operations.
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Equities Derivatives projects for Market Operations, including scope definition, planning, execution, delivery and controls.
- Provide leadership, direction and focus for business functions and project resources
- Maintain a robust and auditable governance process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of overall project
- Proactively communicate global and local business requirements/priorities to key stakeholders; solicit feedback and obtain sign-off on project documentation.
- Regularly present project updates, risks, and issues to a diverse group of senior management
- Leverage the latest digital tools and technologies to support development of solutions in collaboration with our Innovation team
- Facilitate the implementation of new functionalities through training sessions, demos, and the development of training material.
- Project management experience or extensive experience in equities operations is required.
- Markets or other related financial services experience preferred; experience in operations and knowledge of industry regulations is a plus.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence to partner effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and perform in a flexible work environment
- Fluency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and SharePoint.
- Deep skills with regards to creation of Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, and Test Plans.
- Strong public speaking and experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
- Experience with digital solutions tools such as Alteryx, UiPath or Tableau is a plus
- Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups is a plus
- Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals
