Job Title: Operations Project Manager – Delivery Operations (Austria)

About the Role:

The company is seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager to join our Austrian Delivery Operations team. In this role, you will lead and execute strategic initiatives to grow delivery volume, optimize costs, and improve overall network performance. You will collaborate closely with local and global teams to implement best practices, drive innovation, and contribute to operational excellence. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and requires strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Act as project manager and provide day-to-day support to the Head of Delivery Operations, planning, tracking, and delivering key business priorities.
• Identify, scope, and lead multiple initiatives that align with Delivery Operations’ strategic objectives, such as pay strategies, market expansion, go-to-market plans, and customer experience enhancements.
• Take accountability for end-to-end project outcomes, keeping stakeholders informed of risks and progress. Manage projects from pilot through MVP, rollout, and post-mortem analysis.
• Establish delivery and project management best practices and ways of working within teams.
• Analyze data and develop business cases to prioritize initiatives and inform decision-making.

Product & Tech Roadmap Ownership

• Coordinate and contribute to the development and implementation of the delivery operations Product and Tech roadmap.
• Support market-relevant product releases and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends, driving innovation and contributing to global best practices.

Support Day-to-Day Operations

• Support strategic planning processes, including operations strategy and budget planning.
• Strengthen collaboration with external fleet partners to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement.
• Enhance communication flows with couriers to ensure clarity, engagement, and alignment with operational goals.

Qualifications / Skills Required:

• Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across business groups and global locations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate high-level strategies into actionable plans.
• Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate challenges with grit and innovation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams to achieve alignment and results.
• Experience in logistics or delivery operations is a plus.
• MBA or equivalent professional experience, with a completed bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in English and German (minimum C1) both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with operational strategy, network optimization, or delivery platform initiatives.
• Exposure to international or multi-market operations is a plus.

Work Location: Vienna, Austria – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience
