The Role

We're looking for a mid-level Backend Developer who lives and breathes TypeScript and Cloudflare Workers. You're not just a coder - you're an architect who understands how to build scalable, serverless backends that can handle serious business logic.

You'll be the backbone of our data infrastructure, making sure our applications run smoothly while handling complex integrations and database operations.

This is about building the invisible magic that makes everything work.

This is a full-time contract role (144 hours/month) - ideal for someone who wants to dive deep into challenging backend problems while maintaining work-life balance.

What You'll Actually Do

• Design and implement serverless APIs using Cloudflare Workers that scale effortlessly
• Build robust data integration pipelines that connect multiple systems seamlessly
• Manage database schemas and migrations using tools like Drizzle ORM
• Implement complex business logic that powers our B2B applications
• Work with Cloudflare's ecosystem (D1, KV, Queues, Containers) to build distributed systems
• Create efficient data processing workflows that handle real-time and batch operations
• Collaborate with frontend developers to design clean, intuitive API contracts
• Monitor and optimize backend performance to keep everything running smoothly

You're a Great Fit If You Have

• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare Workers
• Strong TypeScript experience in production environments
• Experience with database design and ORMs (Drizzle experience is a plus)
• Understanding of serverless architecture patterns and best practices
• Ability to design, test, and deploy elegant RESTful APIs
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes
• Comfortable working with various Cloudflare technologies (or eager to learn quickly)
• Bonus: Experience with the Hono framework
• Bonus: Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queuing
