At Budget Thuis, we highly value creativity, technical expertise, proactivity, and entrepreneurship. Therefore, we expect the new iOS Developer to bring a strong personality and vision to the team and actively contribute to the success and innovation of Budget Thuis. The Acquisitions & Retention team is hybrid and consists of front-end developers, back-end developers, an Android developer, QA, and AQA. As the only iOS developer in this domain, you’ll take full ownership of iOS features here, while also collaborating with the wider mobile chapter (other iOS and Android developers in different domains).
The iOS Developer will be involved in developing new features, fixing bugs, and performing maintenance. With strong communication skills, the Mobile Developer will play a crucial role between business and technology, as well as between front-end and back-end teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize signup flows, retention features, and cross-sell opportunities within the Budget Thuis app;
- Build new features, fix bugs, and maintain the iOS application;

- Collaborate with the broader mobile team to ensure consistency across domains;
- Actively contribute to the broader vision of Budget Thuis.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience;
- Extensive knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI;

- Experience in proactive decision-making;
- Strong communicator who enjoys engaging directly with business stakeholders without intervention from the product owner;
- You thrive on new projects and are a strong team player;
- Proficiency in Dutch is a plus but not a must.
