Game Path is working with a growing Mobile gaming Developer based in Barcelona, Spain, actively seeking a Lead 2D Artist to join their established team on a newly developed and original casual gaming project.

The role is permanent and onsite.

What You’ll Do

• Define and maintain the overall 2D visual style and quality for our casual mobile titles.
• Create key art pieces, style guides, and visual benchmarks for the art team.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, producers, and Unity developers to ensure a cohesive, appealing player experience.
• Provide artistic direction, mentoring, and feedback to in-house and outsourced artists.
• Oversee asset production pipelines and ensure optimal visuals for Unity integration.
• Contribute hands-on to concept art, characters, UI, and marketing materials as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in 2D art for mobile games, with at least 1 year in a leadership or senior role.
• Proven track record developing casual or free-to-play mobile titles.
• Strong understanding of colour, composition, lighting, and game-friendly stylization.
• Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar digital art tools.
• Experience collaborating with Unity teams for asset implementation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in a cross-disciplinary environment.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona for full-time on-site work.
