We’re seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Azure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

In this pivotal role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong teamwork to build secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments that power business-critical initiatives.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Azure cloud solutions that align with business and technical objectives.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code templates using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are embedded in all solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with Azure updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

🧩 Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar senior cloud role.
• Deep understanding of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, DevOps).
• Strong grasp of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and containerization (AKS, Docker).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, CLI, YAML).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
