🚀 Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Are you passionate about cloud technology and want to make a real impact? We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our client’s cloud environment and help drive innovation, scalability, and security across their platforms.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Architecture, Application, and Security teams to ensure the cloud platforms are robust, automated, and aligned with business goals. You will be a key player in designing and maintaining a modern cloud infrastructure that supports critical services, while bringing your expertise to shape best practices and improve operational excellence.

This is a hybrid position with a great balance between remote work and collaboration in a modern office environment once per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Automate cloud operations and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions
• Optimize cost, performance, and availability of cloud resources
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
• Experience with automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity in cloud environments
• Proven ability to design and operate highly available, scalable cloud systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)
