About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale Android applications. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with deep expertise in Android development, modern frameworks, and best practices.

📍 Location: Cracow, Hybrid model (office visits 6 days per month)

💼 Type of Contract: B2B

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of high-quality Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

• Expert in Android development, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM/Clean Architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, networking, dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt).
• Skilled in UI design, Material Design, custom views, and animations.
• Familiar with reactive programming (RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines) and local storage solutions (Room/SQLite).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Android security standards, push notifications, Firebase, and Google Play Store guidelines.
• Experience with performance optimization, multi-threading, background processing, and native code integration (C/C++).
