The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to join our team. You will be the key link between our international clients and our internal development teams. Your primary mission will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of one or multiple software development projects simultaneously.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships. Manage expectations, communicate progress transparently, and ensure client goals are met.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of ML Engineers, Frontend and Backend Developers, QA etc.
- Scope & Requirement Management: Work with clients and business analysts to define project scope, create detailed requirements (user stories, specifications), and manage the backlog.
- Process & Methodology: Implement and champion agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) within the team. Facilitate all key ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos).
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.
- Resource & Timeline Management: Create and maintain project plans, track timelines, and manage resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular, clear status reports to both internal stakeholders and clients, highlighting progress, risks, and metrics.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in an IT outsourcing or software development company.
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), web and mobile technologies, and architecture basics. You don't need to code, but you must speak the team's language.
- Methodology Expertise: Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage international clients and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and coordinate technical teams.
- Problem-Solver: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English. Russian language is a plus.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and collaboration software (Slack).
