About the summer position

As a Summer Student Data Developer, you'll work on a dedicated project within Bliksund Analytics, contributing to data-driven solutions for Emergency Services. You'll be part of a team of two summer students working together on developing analytics capabilities for on of our our products: EWA, GRID, CRS or IncidentShare.

This is an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while learning modern data engineering practices. You'll work closely with our experienced developers and product team on a focused summer project that makes a genuine impact.

Your summer project will involve:

• Understanding business needs and translate this into technical solutions
• Collaborating with product managers to understand requirements
• Developing Python-based data solutions and analytics tools
• Working with modern data tools building data pipelines and API solutions
• Learning CI/CD practices and deployment workflows
• Contributing to documentation and code quality

You bring:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or similar field
• Strong interest in Python and data development
• Eagerness to learn about data analytics and AI/ML applications
• Curiosity about how technology can solve real-world problems
• Fluency in Norwegian and English
