Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering role with in-depth experience in public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP. Additionally, if you are meticulous and possess a problem-solving mindset with relevant cloud certifications, we would love to see you prove it with your extensive knowledge.

Responsibilities & Authorities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services on platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for designing resilient, high-availability (HA) cloud architectures that span multiple regions and clouds.

• Expertise in managing multi-account cloud environments, including account creation, organization, and governance across AWS Organizations, Azure Management Groups, or Google Cloud Resource Hierarchies.

• Proficiency in using tools like AWS Control Tower, Azure Blueprints, or Google Cloud Resource Manager to automate and standardize account setup and governance.

• Experience in designing and implementing cloud landing zones that serve as secure, scalable, and compliant foundations for deploying workloads in multi-account environments.

• Expertise in automating the enforcement of organizational policies, tagging strategies, and compliance requirements across multiple accounts using IaC and policy-as-code tools like AWS Config, Azure Policy, or Google Cloud Organization Policies.

• Deep understanding of the Well-Architected Framework with a focus on the five pillars: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization.

• Experience in conducting Well-Architected Reviews and implementing best practices to improve cloud architecture across multiple accounts and environments.

• Proficiency in managing and optimizing cloud costs across multiple accounts, including the use of consolidated billing, cost allocation tags, and reserved instances.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking principles, including VPCs, subnets, and CIDR segmentation.

• Expertise in configuring and managing Transit Gateway for cross-VPC communication within and across regions.

• Hands-on experience with Direct Connect, ExpressRoute or IPSec Tunnels for establishing dedicated network connections between on-premises and cloud environments.

• Expertise in designing and implementing hybrid cloud network architectures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.

• Experience in implementing cost-saving measures such as rightsizing, auto-scaling, and workload scheduling within a multi-account architecture.

• Ability to generate and analyze cost reports to identify areas for further optimization and cost reduction.

• Experience with tools like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command Center to enforce security policies across multiple accounts.

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and their application within multi-account cloud environments.

• Experience in automating using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Biceps or Azure ARM Templates.

• Experience in using configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef to manage resources.

• Sound knowledge of Micro-service architecture & patterns.

• Intermediate to expert skills in scripting languages like bash, python or Go.

• Must be familiar with Jira and Confluence or similar technologies.

• Good knowledge on impact assessment, release strategies, deployment methodologies, incident management and change management.

• Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders.
