Job Purpose

The Project Manager will plan, manage, and deliver construction and design projects in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while meeting defined business requirements and quality standards. The Project Manager will lead all project phases from initiation to closure, managing design and construction methodologies, stakeholder coordination, contract administration, document control, and adherence to UAE regulations — including Dubai Municipality codes and Fire & Life Safety (FLS) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring all deliverables meet business, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver projects within approved scope, time, cost, and quality parameters, implementing corrective measures where necessary.
• Oversee project design, tendering, construction, and commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with Dubai Municipality and UAE regulatory standards.
• Enforce safety compliance by conducting regular site inspections, audits, and meetings to maintain adherence to FLS and international safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables through structured project charters.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring timely progress reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout project delivery without compromising quality or compliance.
• Manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and close-out records.
• Ensure proper project handover, including authority approvals, final inspections, and documentation of as-built records.
• Promote best practices in project management, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement across all phases of delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Recognized Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing design and construction projects, preferably within large-scale commercial or infrastructure developments.
• Proven experience working with UAE authorities (especially Dubai Municipality) and knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
• Exposure to aviation or large-scale operational environments is an advantage.

• Strong command of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Skilled in change management, systems development, and business analysis.
• Excellent leadership and coordination abilities to manage cross-functional and multinational teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound technical understanding of design, MEP, and construction processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
