Hotels run on people, but finding great talent quickly is broken. Staffing agencies are often slow and expensive, and job boards aren’t built for hospitality. Overworked hiring managers lack the time to seek out quality candidates.


RoomsRelay is fixing that. We are building a better way for hotels to find, hire, and manage top hospitality talent. Our platform connects experienced hotel professionals with hiring managers across North America. We’re building the go-to workforce platform for the hotel industry, where speed, trust, and quality of matches matter most.


The Opportunity

We’re looking for a CTO to help build the future of hospitality hiring. You’ll own the product and tech roadmap. Design, develop, and scale a platform that leverages automation and AI to make hiring and deployment seamless.


You’ll shape the product roadmap, architect the tech stack, and own all technical decisions from infrastructure to AI integrations. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help define the next generation of workforce technology.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the technical vision, architecture, and development of the RoomsRelay platform.
  • Build and manage integrations.
  • Develop and iterate on matching algorithms to connect hotel talent with hiring managers.
  • Implement scalable systems for vetting, onboarding, and performance tracking of talent.
  • Collaborate on product strategy and UX with the founder to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Contribute to fundraising, investor discussions, and long-term product strategy.


What We’re Looking For

  • Entrepreneurial builder who’s excited about being a co-founder, not just an employee.
  • Proven experience building or leading the development of marketplaces, HR, or recruitment platforms.
  • Comfortable with AI tools, automation, and data-driven platforms.
  • Experience scaling products from MVP to commercial stage.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills able to move fast, test, and iterate.
  • Passion for hospitality/travel, HR tech, or improving how people find work.
