Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, prioritise and report risks across the organisation, including operational, financial, regulatory, strategic, and reputational risks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure risk management policies are integrated into business processes
- Conduct regular risk assessments and controls testing to evaluate the organisation's resilience
- Conduct due diligence assessments and ongoing performance monitoring for outsourced functions and third-party providers
- Monitor emerging risks and industry trends, providing proactive recommendations to mitigate potential impacts
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure adequate controls are in place to reduce exposure
- Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to enhance organisational resilience
- Evaluate third-party vendors and outsourcing arrangements for risk exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Foster a risk-aware culture by providing training and awareness programs to employees
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Ability to convince people to provide the items/work required
- Good command of verbal, written and presentation skills and confidence in speaking up
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and manage unexpected situations
- Disciplined with planning and meeting deadlines
- Personality that reflects enthusiasm, willingness to work and collaborate with others, energetic and enthusiastic
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
