Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, prioritise and report risks across the organisation, including operational, financial, regulatory, strategic, and reputational risks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure risk management policies are integrated into business processes
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and controls testing to evaluate the organisation's resilience
  • Conduct due diligence assessments and ongoing performance monitoring for outsourced functions and third-party providers
  • Monitor emerging risks and industry trends, providing proactive recommendations to mitigate potential impacts
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure adequate controls are in place to reduce exposure
  • Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to enhance organisational resilience
  • Evaluate third-party vendors and outsourcing arrangements for risk exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Foster a risk-aware culture by providing training and awareness programs to employees

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to convince people to provide the items/work required
  • Good command of verbal, written and presentation skills and confidence in speaking up
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and manage unexpected situations
  • Disciplined with planning and meeting deadlines
  • Personality that reflects enthusiasm, willingness to work and collaborate with others, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
