This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Junior Mobile UX/UI Product Designer in the United States.

As a Junior Mobile UX/UI Product Designer, you will help shape intuitive, mobile-first experiences across iOS, Android, and web platforms for a fast-growing SaaS application. You will collaborate closely with senior designers and engineers to translate complex workflows into clear, user-friendly interfaces. This role offers hands-on opportunities to refine design systems, create prototypes, and contribute to products used by tens of thousands of active users daily. You will gain exposure to full product cycles, from ideation and testing to engineering handoff and release, while working in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Design mobile-first flows for capturing, reviewing, and syncing inspection and reporting tasks
  • Break down multi-step workflows into intuitive screens with clear microcopy and annotations
  • Apply platform-consistent patterns for iOS, Android, and responsive web experiences
  • Contribute to and expand the design system, ensuring consistency across components and platforms
  • Produce annotated specifications detailing behavior, states, and accessibility considerations
  • Prototype ideas in Figma and test designs with users and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during handoff, QA, and release processes
  • Document design decisions to maintain a reusable and searchable knowledge base


Requirements

  • 1-3 years of product design experience, including mobile and some web projects
  • Portfolio demonstrating flows, prototypes, and shipped UI designs
  • Strong understanding of iOS/Android patterns and responsive design principles
  • Experience producing detailed, annotated design specifications
  • Hands-on proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
  • Familiarity with design systems and component-driven workflows
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work alongside engineers during handoff and QA
  • Awareness of accessibility fundamentals, including contrast, tap targets, and text size. Bonus: Experience with offline-first mobile apps, property management tools, voice interfaces, or AI-powered features
