As a Chief Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations. - Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage the budget for the engineering department, controlling costs, and allocating resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to address their technical needs and provide support for various events and activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, implementing measures to promote a safe working environment.
- Evaluate and recommend upgrades or improvements to the hotel's infrastructure to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, repairs, and maintenance activities for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in engineering technology, incorporating best practices into the hotel's operations.
