Project Overview
Our client, the world’s #1 restaurant chain, is undertaking a strategic initiative to enhance the user experience of its mobile application. The focus is on modernising the interface by introducing landscape mode support across key screens, ensuring a seamless and responsive layout regardless of device orientation. This update is part of a broader effort to meet evolving accessibility standards and platform compliance requirements, while maintaining the brand’s commitment to intuitive and inclusive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UI tests for adaptive interfaces, ensuring correct behavior in both portrait and landscape orientations;
- Apply DSL rules to create consistent and reusable UI test components;
- Build test utilities and abstractions for SwiftUI and UIKit-based screens;
- Contribute to sprint planning and task estimation using T-shirt sizing methodology;
- Investigate flaky tests, improve test reliability, and expand test coverage;
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure high-quality UI experiences.
- 5-7 years of experience in iOS development with strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI;
- Experience with XCUITests;
- Solid understanding of UIKit, Auto Layout, and adaptive layout principles;
- Experience with MVVM, Coordinator, and other architectural patterns;
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Fastlane, GitHub Actions, and Codemagic;
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices;
- Ability to work in Agile teams and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Exposure to Figma API integration and automated code generation;
- Understanding of European Accessibility Act;
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
