Graduate / Junior Developer – build tools that make an impact

Are you looking for your first step into the world of hedge funds where you can quickly make a real difference? You’ll join a small, collaborative team that focuses on building tools and dashboards to support high-impact decision making.

You will work on projects that move from prototype to production, helping to turn proofs of concept into reliable applications that are used every day by traders and portfolio managers. Along the way, you will gain hands-on experience with modern development tools, gaining exposure to F#, while also learning how to build web scraping and data integration workflows.

This is not a role where you will be stuck in the background. You will contribute from day one, take on increasing responsibility as you grow, and gain exposure to every stage of the development lifecycle.

Not only will you develop your software development skills, but you will also gain a product-focused mindset and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally you’ll be coming with basic programming knowledge with an understanding of Linux. Most importantly, you will need to have good communication skills and have the confidence to interact with various stakeholders.

This is a privately owned investment management firm that specialises in systematic and quantitative trading strategies. Salary will depend on your experience. Of course if you're a fresh graduate with limited experience you'll earn less than if you have a couple of years' experience. On top of that you'll also have a bonus, which will be based on yours and the fund's performance. There's a great opportunity to do very well financially here in the long term.
