762 Interactive is looking for a Game Designer to join our studio and help bring to life Project Kingpin, an ambitious and fresh take on crime-strategy and management games. We’re searching for someone with strong gameplay instincts, creative systems thinking, and a passion for designing mechanics that are strategic, rewarding, and authentic. You’ll work across gameplay systems, economy, and progression to shape how players experience the world we are building. This role requires both hands-on design work and collaboration across disciplines.


This is a remote position.

In This Role You Will:

  • Design and document core gameplay systems, loops, and progression structures.
  • Balance player rewards, pacing, and progression using data and playtesting.
  • Write and maintain clear design documentation (GDDs, feature briefs, tuning sheets).
  • Collaborate closely with developers, artists, and production to prototype and refine mechanics.
  • Participate in playtests and iterate based on player feedback.
  • Contribute ideas across mission design, economy systems, and player experience.
  • Help define design processes and best practices as part of a growing studio.


What We are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in game design.
  • Proven experience with gameplay systems, progression, or balancing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate creative ideas into testable mechanics.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Sheets for tuning and balancing.
  • Knowledge of Unity editor & autonomy to use the scriptable objects
  • Clear, structured writing and documentation skills.
  • Can think and work creatively while taking the initiative to solve problems. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-discipline. 
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently. 
  • Drive towards professional growth. 
  • Fluent in Portuguese; English proficiency for daily communication with U.S. leadership.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with strategy / sim / management games is very welcome. 
  • UI/UX Design Experience.
  • Knowledge of C# in the Unity Engine.
  • Knowledge of AI behavior, or mission scripting.
  • Understanding of Unity implementation or prototyping workflows.
  • Interest in narrative-driven systems or branching gameplay.
