QA Engineer

Object First is an international group of companies specializing in providing an innovative and immutable backup solution tailored for Veeam backup and replication using object-based storage. We are currently seeking a highly responsible, trustworthy, and experienced individual to join our rapidly expanding global team as a QA Engineer based in Poland.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with the development team.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in manual testing for web applications
• Proficiency in testing web interfaces and verifying alignment with Figma templates
• Experience with responsive design testing across various devices
• Familiarity with backend API testing
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman and Swagger
• Solid understanding of QA test design techniques, testing methodologies, and approaches
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes
• Experience in designing test documentation
• Understanding of the bug life cycle and experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Good English communication skills, at least at B1 level

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with programming fundamentals in languages such as PHP or JavaScript
• Basic understanding of databases, particularly MySQL
• Experience with browser DevTools (e.g., Chrome)
• Experience with Confluence for documentation

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of the website to ensure high quality and functionality
• Verify the layout and design of new pages against Figma templates for both desktop and mobile versions
• Test new features and functionality to confirm they meet specified requirements
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing features
• Develop user experience documentation to support both internal and external stakeholders
• Identify, document, and track issues throughout the development lifecycle
