About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer (React) to join our client — a leading Swiss wealth management firm — as part of a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a great opportunity to work on innovative, high-impact projects that will reshape how financial services are delivered to clients.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product experts, helping to build intuitive, high-performing, and secure web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React and related technologies.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through best engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements and advocate for front-end excellence across the project.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js and the modern JavaScript ecosystem (TypeScript, Redux, etc.).
• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating with backend systems and working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural, distributed team.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Zurich – onsite presence required 3 days per week.
• English proficiency is required; German is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in financial services or enterprise-scale applications.
• Familiarity with micro frontends or modular architectures.
