Job Title : Data Analyst

Job Location : Sydney, Australia


Key Skills :

  • Analytical mindset.
  • Requirements gathering and design validation.
  • Bigdata Omnia skillset with strong SQL (must).
  • Data Quality and control experience.
  • AWS certification.
  • Relevant working experience in AWS Big Data Services (EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to perform Data Engineering and ETL development activities.
  • Programming skills (Python/Java/Scala).
  • Data Modelling and Warehousing.


Required experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years in Data Analytics or similar experience (e.g. actuary, pricing, or credit risk)
  • Must have proven experience working with SQL to extract data from complex datasets
  • Extensive experience in using data driven analytics to develop dashboards, insights and recommendations
  • Ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach using data-driven insights to solve
  • Experience with analytical tools and platforms such as R / Python and/or GitHub is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in Banking (customers, products, systems, processes) is preferred
  • Experience with Agile tools and methodologies is preferred

Degree in relevant discipline (Actuarial, Statistics, Math's, Economics, Engineering or Sciences).
