YOUR ROLE
As a Functional Analyst, you act as the critical bridge between business needs and technical solutions across different technologies. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, helping deliver optimal digital experience solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the bridge between Business and Technical teams
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional designs
- Align business needs with UX, platform capabilities, and digital best practices
- Prepare user stories and support backlog grooming with development teams
- Lead workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Act as a quality gate during testing phases (functional validation, UAT support)
- Support training and onboarding for other analysts and business users
- Provide input on prioritization, impact assessments, and roadmap alignment
Personal Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Functional Analyst on at least 2 digital projects, Adobe or Salesforce platforms would be a plus
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (6.4/6.5), Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics or hands-on experience with Salesforce Core Clouds.
- Experience drafting and managing functional planning in coordination with Project Managers
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Skilled in conducting workshops and requirements gathering with cross-functional stakeholders
- Familiarity with wireframes, UX/UI principles, and SEO concepts
- Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Willing to work on high-level architecture as well as low-level functional details
- Comfortable working with technical teams, web agencies, and design partners
- Ability to adapt across different platforms and quickly understand platform-specific capabilities and limitations
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch or French with a good knowledge of the other language
- Professional working proficiency in English is also a must
- Adobe Experience Manager Business Practitioner (v6 or higher)
- Analytics Business Practitioner (e.g., Adobe Analytics)
- Target Business Practitioner
- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Sales or Service
