Project Manager Smart Energy Solutions

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming a new Project Manager Smart Energy Solutions in our Energy team.

A strategic position for an experienced Project Manager capable of leading a large-scale, cross-functional rollout within a complex technical and regulatory environment.

This role combines technical expertise, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management to drive Brussels’ smart energy transformation.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational rollout of smart electricity and gas meters across the Brussels-Capital Region.
• Manage project planning, budget, and reporting, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor deployment progress and performance through KPIs, dashboards, and operational reports.
• Coordinate activities between technical, IT, logistics, and business teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Support operational teams in defining, documenting, and improving business processes.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Adapt the deployment strategy according to field feedback, risks, and evolving objectives.
• Prepare and present reports to management, public authorities, and the regulator.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in the energy, utilities, telecom, or industrial sectors.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proven track record in budget control, KPI tracking, and executive-level reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; data-driven and process-oriented mindset.
• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electromechanical, Energy, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of project methodologies (Prince2, PMP, Agile) and process modeling (BPMN) is an asset.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good understanding of the other language.
• Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
