Are you ready to protect an industry pioneer? We are looking for an Information Security Manager to join us to lead and develop Framery's information security across the entire organization, covering our technical infrastructure, products, and operational processes. In this new role, you’ll work closely with our IT, Smart Office Solutions (SOS), Legal, and Leadership teams, ensuring our assets, data, and people are protected from threats. You will unite our two existing information security specialists to form and lead a new, dedicated team, establishing its practices from the ground up. The role will involve strategic planning, hands-on project management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. We also encourage your fresh ideas and contributions to help shape the future of our security function.

To succeed in the role, we hope you are a proactive and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. You are not new to information security work - we hope you have gained solid experience in similar responsibilities, preferably in a technology or manufacturing context. This includes an understanding of global regulations related to IoT devices, digital services, and data to ensure our products and operations meet all relevant requirements, as well as the ability to discuss technical details effectively with team members and other stakeholders. What matters the most is your motivation, attitude and drive to achieve results.

What we’re looking for:

• Solid work experience in information security, giving you expertise of risk management, and compliance, and the ability to translate technical details and the business impact for stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as information security, computer science or related.
• Understanding, readiness to grasp and take action on security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (such as AWS) and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position. The start time in the role is as soon as possible. The primary location for the position is our headquarters in Tampere, and we work with a hybrid model. Readiness to visit The Factory in Tampere weekly is expected to effectively lead and collaborate with the team.
