Consultant – EDR Replacement Engineer (Cyber Security)
Location: Paris – La Défense, France
Work Mode: Partial Remote (2 days WFH / 3 days Onsite)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced EDR Replacement Engineer to lead the evaluation, deployment, and migration to a new Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform. The role involves both technical leadership and project management to ensure a seamless transition with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment and vendor selection for the new EDR solution.
- Plan and execute migration from the existing EDR platform.
- Deploy and configure EDR agents across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.
- Integrate EDR with SIEM and IT asset inventory systems.
- Tune detection rules, alerts, and prevention policies to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Develop testing, rollback, and validation plans for smooth transitions.
- Create deployment runbooks, operational procedures, and training materials for SOC and IT teams.
- Provide post-migration support and ongoing optimization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Cyber Security or Endpoint Security.
- Proven expertise in EDR tools, deployment, and migration projects.
- Strong understanding of SIEM integrations, detection tuning, and incident response workflows.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English and/or French.
