Consultant – EDR Replacement Engineer (Cyber Security)

Location: Paris – La Défense, France

Work Mode: Partial Remote (2 days WFH / 3 days Onsite)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced EDR Replacement Engineer to lead the evaluation, deployment, and migration to a new Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform. The role involves both technical leadership and project management to ensure a seamless transition with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assessment and vendor selection for the new EDR solution.
• Plan and execute migration from the existing EDR platform.
• Deploy and configure EDR agents across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.
• Integrate EDR with SIEM and IT asset inventory systems.
• Tune detection rules, alerts, and prevention policies to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Develop testing, rollback, and validation plans for smooth transitions.
• Create deployment runbooks, operational procedures, and training materials for SOC and IT teams.
• Provide post-migration support and ongoing optimization.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Cyber Security or Endpoint Security.
• Proven expertise in EDR tools, deployment, and migration projects.
• Strong understanding of SIEM integrations, detection tuning, and incident response workflows.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English and/or French.
