Security Architect / Specialist - Munich & Berlin | Hybrid
Start: October 2025
Duration: 24 months (initial term under ANÜ model)
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Remote work: Up to 3 days per week (depending on project scope and agreement)
We are currently hiring three Security Architects / Specialists in Munich and three in Berlin to join one of Germany’s most respected technology organisations. These roles offer the chance to work on advanced, security-critical products that shape the future of secure communications and infrastructure.
As part of a highly skilled engineering environment, you will design and evaluate security architectures, ensure compliance with national and EU standards, and collaborate closely with product development teams to embed security from concept to implementation. The positions are offered under the ANÜ model, providing access to a world-class technical setting, diverse project experience, and the flexibility of a project-based engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate product architectures and security concepts with regard to approval, certification, and compliance.
- Define and verify security measures aligned with product security goals.
- Conduct risk and threat analyses and derive robust security requirements.
- Implement and oversee security measures at the concept and architecture level.
- Support and enable development teams in applying security requirements.
- Drive information security integration in line with ISO 27001 and NIS-2.
Your Profile
- Proven practical experience in Cyber / IT Security (essential).
- Familiarity with Common Criteria and process-oriented security frameworks.
- Experience in approval and certification processes.
- Strong knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz (mandatory).
- Understanding of EU security standards such as the Data Act, Cyber Resilience Act, and Radio Equipment Directive.
- Expertise in ISO 27001 and NIS-2.
- Professional fluency in German (C1) and working English skills.
- Not suitable for entry-level candidates.
