Your new company
This is a regionally recognised and steadily growing financial services organisation with seven branches serving communities across counties Galway and Offaly. Widely regarded as a cornerstone of the local financial landscape, the organisation has expanded significantly through strategic mergers and acquisitions. It now benefits from a superbly experienced senior management team and a well-established organisational structure, positioning it for continued success and sustainable growth.
Your new role
As Chief Executive Officer, you will take on a pivotal leadership position, responsible for guiding the strategic direction and operational performance of the organisation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all aspects of the business, including financial management, regulatory compliance, risk oversight, and staff development. This is a unique opportunity to lead a respected institution with the freedom to put your own stamp on its future. The organisation is not looking for reinvention, but rather someone who can build on its momentum and add to its success through confident leadership and sound judgement.
What you'll need to succeed
Success in this role will require a strong foundation in financial services, with significant senior leadership experience and a proven ability to manage complex organisational challenges. A sharp commercial instinct will be essential - the ability to identify opportunities, drive sustainable growth, and make strategic decisions that enhance the organisation's financial performance. You will bring operational resilience, a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, and the interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A commitment to community-focused financial services and a collaborative leadership style will be key to thriving in this environment.
What you'll get in return
This role offers the chance to lead a respected and expanding financial institution with deep community roots. You'll be joining a values-driven organisation with a supportive culture, a high-performing senior management team, and a clear appetite for continued growth. Alongside a competitive remuneration package, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact and shape the future of a firm that truly matters to the people it serves.
