HR ADVISOR - 6 MONTH ROLE - DUBLIN
Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Dublin (4 days on-site, option to work remotely on Fridays)
Contract: Temporary, 6 month role
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and motivated HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner for a 6 month temporary contract within the financial services industry. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full HR spectrum in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
The role will be heavy on HR administration, with a strong focus on recruitment, wellbeing initiatives, and project work — including supporting improvements to our performance management system. You’ll also play a key role in employee engagement and day-to-day HR operations, providing valuable support to both managers and employees.
This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their HR career in a regulated financial services environment while contributing to meaningful HR initiatives that will have a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice.
- Manage HR administration, including contracts, HRIS updates, and documentation.
- Support and advise on employee relations (ER) matters such as performance, probation, and absence management.
- Coordinate and support recruitment activities, partnering with managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Drive and contribute to HR projects, including wellbeing initiatives and the enhancement of the performance management framework.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to deliver a positive employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment law and internal policies.
Requirements:
- Approximately 5 years’ HR experience, essentially within financial services or another regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law with proven experience advising managers on day-to-day ER matters.
- Solid HR operations experience, including contracts, HR systems, and recruitment support.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
