About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and motivated HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner for a 6 month temporary contract within the financial services industry. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full HR spectrum in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

The role will be heavy on HR administration, with a strong focus on recruitment, wellbeing initiatives, and project work — including supporting improvements to our performance management system. You’ll also play a key role in employee engagement and day-to-day HR operations, providing valuable support to both managers and employees.

This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their HR career in a regulated financial services environment while contributing to meaningful HR initiatives that will have a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice.
  • Manage HR administration, including contracts, HRIS updates, and documentation.
  • Support and advise on employee relations (ER) matters such as performance, probation, and absence management.
  • Coordinate and support recruitment activities, partnering with managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Drive and contribute to HR projects, including wellbeing initiatives and the enhancement of the performance management framework.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to deliver a positive employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment law and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • Approximately 5 years’ HR experience, essentially within financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law with proven experience advising managers on day-to-day ER matters.
  • Solid HR operations experience, including contracts, HR systems, and recruitment support.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What’s on Offer:

  • A varied and hands-on role that offers exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
  • The chance to work on meaningful projects and initiatives alongside day-to-day HR operations.
  • Valuable experience within the financial services industry, offering insight into complex HR challenges in a regulated sector.
  • A collaborative team environment where your ideas and input will be valued.

Working Model:

  • 6 month contract, starting ASAP.
  • 4 days per week in the Dublin office, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
