Junior IT Developer Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
Application Analysis & Development
- Support the collection and documentation of functional and technical requirements by working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured technical documentation
- Assist in the development and maintenance of basic software components (frontend/backend), following team guidance.
- Contribute to the design and modeling of IT processes and application workflows
- Participate in testing and support quality assurance activities
- Document technical solutions and contribute to user manuals or support documentation
- Provide technical support to faculty, students, and staff for devices and applications (e.g., PCs, projectors, printers, BlackBoard, O365, etc.).
- Interact directly with users to understand their needs, identify recurring issues or in efficiencies, and help design more effective, user-centered solutions
- Help transform support cases into opportunities for improvements through automation or smarter system configurations
- Aid in setting up and maintaining classrooms and labs
- Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript and/or Python.
- Familiarity with at least one development framework: (.NET, Angular or React – even via university/personal projects)
- Basic understanding of relational or NoSQL databases
- Interest in Agile methodologies and understanding of the CI/CD development life cycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you enjoy talking to people and finding solutions together
- Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn by doing
- Bonus skills (not mandatory but nice to have): Knowledge of Azure DevOpsor different similar tools
