We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP ABAP Architect to lead the successful delivery of SAP projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable SAP solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of development processes within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements to create tailored SAP solutions
• Perform modeling, design, implementation, and testing using SAP programming models and methodologies
• Collaborate with development teams and product management to align technical solutions with business needs
• Actively participate in Agile (Scrum) development processes as a member of an Agile team
• Deliver high-quality outputs by creating and executing test cases and conducting design and specification reviews
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
• Monitor and improve the delivery process to maintain efficiency and quality
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP development
• Minimum of 3 years in roles such as Lead, Manager, Architect, Owner, or Coordinator
• At least 2 years of experience leading a team of 20 or more members
• Experience in at least 5 full-cycle SAP projects or launching a product or key product capability to market
• Proficiency in Agile (Scrum) development with a strong understanding of application and software architecture
• Advanced ABAP programming skills, including ABAP OO and Design Patterns
• Experience with ABAP for SAP S/4HANA development, including CDS, Fiori elements/SmartTemplates, SAP NetWeaver Gateway, and OData services
• Knowledge of ABAP frameworks such as BOPF and BOL
• Familiarity with tools and techniques like ABAP Test Cockpit, ABAP Performance Tuning, and Runtime Analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English at an advanced level

Nice to have

• SAP certifications
• Basic knowledge of SAP systems functionality, particularly SAP S/4HANA functional areas
• Familiarity with SAPUI5, SAP HANA Platform, SAP Cloud Platform, and ABAP PaaS development techniques
• Experience with Side-by-Side Extensibility, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP Cloud SDK, and RESTful ABAP development
