Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Security Administrator with strong networking expertise to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our IT systems. This role involves implementing and maintaining security solutions, monitoring threats, and supporting the network infrastructure to enhance the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture. Key Responsibilities: IT Security
• Monitor, assess, and respond to security threats and incidents.
• Manage and maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, analyze risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Define and enforce security policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Support internal and external audits, including compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
• Manage user access controls, identity management, and privileged account security. Network Administration
• Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and network segmentation.
• Configure and monitor routers, switches, and other network equipment (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
• Ensure network performance, availability, and security through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Participate in network architecture design and upgrades to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience in IT security and network administration (3+ years preferred). • Solid knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, IDS/IPS). • Hands-on experience with network protocols, VLANs, routing/switching, and VPNs. • Relevant certifications are a strong asset (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CCNA Security, Fortinet NSE). • Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux systems, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
