We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer Intern to join our fast-growing team in Leiria Office. You’ll report directly to Product Director and work closely with Product, Development, and Customer teams. This is a unique opportunity to shape the user experience and visual language of innovative solutions used in high-impact, real-world environments.


As a key contributor, you will play a vital role from concept to final interface, helping design cross-platform experiences for mobile, wearables, web, and AR-based applications. You’ll ensure our products are not only functional but also intuitive and visually engaging for a wide variety of users.


Tasks

  • Assist in the design of user interfaces across mobile, web, and AR platforms.

  • Help translate complex workflows into simple, accessible, and elegant designs.

  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and refine design requirements.

  • Support user research, usability testing, and design iteration activities.

  • Contribute to the design system to ensure visual and functional consistency.

  • Advocate for a user-first design mindset in every phase of development.

  • Occasionally help the marketing team with visual materials such as presentations, social media content, or product brochures.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ongoing or completed) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

  • Compatible with IEFP internship (Mandatory)

  • Based in Leiria

  • Some experience or strong academic portfolio in UX/UI design (mobile/web/AR).

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design/prototyping tools.

  • Basic understanding of interaction design, motion design, and accessibility principles.

  • Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

  • Enthusiasm to learn, iterate, and grow in a collaborative environment.

  • Bonus: Interest or prior exposure to AR/VR, Unity, or design for industrial or fieldwork applications.
