What You'll Do

The Alumni & Career Services (A&CS) function at BCG empowers our people beyond their BCG journey and unlocks long-term value for BCG by delivering world-class support to graduating talents and fostering meaningful lifelong connections with alumni. We aim to build the most trusted and impactful alumni and talent ecosystem in the industry, that will strengthen affiliation, fuel careers, and drive lasting advocacy and value for the BCG community.

You will work at the forefront of technology and value impact, driving Value Creation in Alumni engagement while also leading the A&CS technology portfolio.

  • Tech product: You will own the product strategy and roadmap across A&CS platforms and integrations, focusing on priority initiatives such as segmentation and reporting, AI-assisted outreach and engagement, job-matching for graduating talents and alumni, and impact monitoring. You will translate the integrated A&CS vision into clear product roadmap, and lead the development of business and tech requirements through the annual business review (ABR) and ad-hoc basis. You will lead the Global Alumni and Career Services Product Senior Coordinator to ensure successful execution of the above priorities.
  • Value: Proactively support the broader Value Creation stream by identifying and enhancing opportunities to deliver meaningful impact from alumni. This includes supporting programs to drive Alumni-Influenced-Wins, activating MDPs, CCOs and PAs agenda, and stepping into priority initiatives as needed to ensure alignment between technology capabilities and broader alumni engagement and career services objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Product strategy and roadmap: Define and evolve the multiyear roadmap across five capability themes: insights for segmentation, automated accuracy, AI-powered outreach/notification, job matching, and impact monitoring.
  • Regional engagement and alignment: collaborate closely with regional counterparts to understand unique needs and complexities, ensuring regional and system perspectives are aligned in the product and program solutions.
  • Tech stakeholder engagement and alignment: build trust and drive alignment across Client and Marketing/MarTech teams. Engage with senior stakeholders in Finance/Tech leadership to secure alignment and funding
  • Documentation and standardization: Baseline existing assets and processes to develop and publish living documentation (e.g., data dictionary, process maps, decision rights, playbooks) to clarify refreshed processes and accelerate future enhancementS
  • Value creation: You will identify and enhance opportunities to mobilize at scale BCG MDPs, CCOs and PAs in driving alumni value, incl. developing programs, initiatives to scale across regions

Working with the A&CS global team, you will act as a bridge between BST functions, client team leadership, and tech leadership.

This description reflects present priorities and may evolve. You may take on other high-impact initiatives to further support the Value creation and Product streams of the A&CS function as the vision scales.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Product management: Setting a clear, crisp product vision, prioritizing ruthlessly and delivering iteratively with measurable impact
  • Building investment cases: Translating technology and experience improvements into modeled financial outcomes; crafting compelling narratives and artifacts for senior forums (e.g., ABR) and gaining alignment across stakeholders. Capacity to interact effectively with all staff levels within the organization as well as the ability to represent BCG’s brand to a variety of external audiences
  • Proactive team player: Taking ownership, anticipating needs, and supporting others with a low-ego, high-trust approach
  • Effective prioritization: Juggling multiple priorities with strong organization and time management; staying calm and focused under pressure
  • Data fluency: Comfortable leveraging and improving data models, pipelines, governance, APIs and other integrations to support data interoperability and develop insightful algorithms
  • Matrixed organization leadership: Influencing senior stakeholders across client, marketing, HR and data/analytics, and coordinating multiple product teams.
  • Change management and communication: Preparing leaders and teams across multiple functions and geographies for new capabilities, telling a clear, compelling story to drive adoption and deployment at scale
  • Apprenticeship and people development: Manage and coach a Product Specialist as direct report. Co-develop clear developmental goals and provide frequent, iterative feedback on deliverables, and drive performance reviews and coverage continuity

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
  • 3~5 years’ experience in management consulting/client-facing professional services (preferred), or in product management, alumni relations
  • Proven track record translating business needs into digital products from discovery through launch and iteration; strong backlog and dependency management
  • Demonstrated experience building budget/investment cases (ROI/TCO), presenting to senior leadership, and navigating annual planning-type processes
  • Strong agile project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience and passion in people topics is a plus
