IT Security Engineer - Operations

As part of a six-person team, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our systems and digital services, with a focus on ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure. In this role, you will also act as the cybersecurity coordinator within the team, contributing your expertise to safeguard and strengthen our IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and mitigate risks affecting IT platform availability and security.
- Manage firewalls (WAF services and appliances).
- Operate high-availability systems (Linux, Docker, Cloud, Web streaming).
- Oversee vulnerability management and automated patch deployment.
- Manage incidents and alarm-related tickets.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Infrastructure as Code).
- Contribute to the evolution of our monitoring stack (Grafana / Prometheus).
- Ensure best practices are used for access management, logging, and system hardening.
Requirements:
- Skilled in managing servers, networking, and high-availability systems (Linux ideally).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and automation principles.
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals (IAM, system hardening, vulnerability management).
- Experience managing firewalls/WAFs, patching, and incident response.
- Able to detect, investigate, and resolve system performance or availability issues.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python).
