CCIE Certified Network Engineer – Security Infrastructure
Location: The Hague

We are seeking a highly qualified CCIE Certified Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient, and compliant network systems within a high-security judicial environment. This role is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive legal data, courtroom technologies, and inter-agency communications.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco networking technologies and a proven track record of operating within environments governed by strict regulatory and security standards. You will collaborate with IT security, legal, and administrative teams to uphold the digital backbone of justice operations.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and maintain secure network infrastructures across multiple court facilities, including data centers, secure VPNs, and segmented networks
Implement and manage advanced firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and access control mechanisms to safeguard judicial data
Ensure compliance with national and international data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CJIS, ISO/IEC 27001).
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and forensic analysis in response to incidents
Support courtroom technologies such as video conferencing, evidence presentation systems, and secure remote access for legal professionals.
Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored to judicial operations
Mentor junior engineers and provide expert guidance during high-stakes troubleshooting and audits.
- Qualifications
- Active CCIE certification (Security or Enterprise Infrastructure preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in secure enterprise networking, ideally within government, legal, or defense sectors
- Strong command of Cisco technologies (ASA, Firepower, ISE, Catalyst, Nexus)
- Expertise in network segmentation, zero-trust architecture, and secure remote access
- Familiarity with courtroom IT systems and legal data workflows is a plus
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
