Job Definition

We are seeking a Software Development Manager who brings together deep technical expertise and a strong business-oriented mindset. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our product and technology strategy while leading the development team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the software development lifecycle: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring,
• Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects,
• Collaborate closely with backend & frontend teams (web & mobile), and evolve requirements into product features,
• Manage workload of the development team members,
• Ensure software quality in terms of performance, security, and scalability,
• Establish and implement best practices in software development,
• Provide hands-on coding when necessary to set technical direction and lead by example,
• Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management,
• Implement and coordinate code review, pair programming and clean coding processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field,
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience, and at least 3 years in a leadership role,
• Well-organised, self-starting and able to deliver to schedule with high quality results,
• Strong knowledge with SaaS product development,
• Strong knowledge of API management, integration architectures, and database systems,
• Knowledge of microservices, modular monolith, and CI/CD practices,
• Expertise in .NET technologies, and mobile application development (iOS/Android),
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
