Your Role in VT Markets
We are looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful HR Operations Specialist / HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end HR operations and generalist functions, with a strong focus on compliance with UAE labor laws and coordination of employee visa, labor card, and immigration processes. This role will play a key part in ensuring efficient and compliant HR practices across the employee lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  •  Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  •  1–3 years of experience in HR operations or generalist role, preferably within the UAE.
  •  Hands-on experience coordinating employee visa, labor, and immigration processes in the UAE.
  •  Familiarity with government portals such as MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP.
Skills & Competencies
  •  good knowledge of UAE labor law, visa processing, and compliance requirements.
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Lark workspace.
  •  Experience using HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, BambooHR) is a plus.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Job Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration

  •  Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  •  Prepare and manage HR documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, NOCs, and salary certificates.
  •  Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and systems access are properly managed.
  •  Coordinate with PRO/government relations team to ensure timely processing of work permits, labor cards, Emirates ID, visas, medical testing, and residency renewals.
  •  Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, MOHRE regulations, and free zone authority policies where applicable.
HR Generalist Functions
  •  Conduct employee onboarding, orientation, and support employee engagement initiatives.
  •  Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, or issues.
  • maintenance of performance documentation.
  •  Maintain awareness of updates to UAE labor and immigration laws and assist with policy updates accordingly.
