Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Android Developer located in Kanata, ON. The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile GCS (ground control station) applications and plugins for widely used Situational Awareness (ATAK) platforms. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, troubleshooting and fixing bugs, improving application performance, and ensuring the application runs smoothly across various Android devices.
Qualifications
- Experience in Mobile Application Development
- Strong skills in GUI Design
- Proficiency in OpenGL and GPU accelerated graphics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with other mobile platforms (iOS) is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud-based services and APIs
- Must qualify for a Level II Security Clearance (citizenship required)
