We are seeking an experienced leader to take on the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO). The CIO will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s technology strategy, ensuring that IT and digital capabilities drive business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This role will oversee enterprise IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data, and infrastructure, while ensuring technology investments are aligned with long-term organizational objectives. As a key member of the leadership team, the CIO will serve as a strategic partner and act as a catalyst for technology-driven change.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the enterprise technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO, executive team, and Board on emerging technologies and their business implications.
IT & Infrastructure Management
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Modernize legacy systems and oversee cloud adoption, automation, and enterprise system integration.
- Implement effective IT governance, risk, and cost optimization frameworks.
Data & Analytics
- Lead data management, analytics, and reporting to improve business intelligence and decision-making.
- Build a data-driven culture by enabling AI/ML, automation, and advanced analytics.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard systems, data, and intellectual property.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, data privacy, and security standards.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Partner with business leaders to identify technology solutions supporting strategic objectives.
- Manage technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and maximize ROI on technology investments.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor IT and digital teams across infrastructure, applications, and security functions.
- Build a high-performance, customer-centric, and innovative technology organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive/CIO or equivalent capacity.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation and IT modernization programs.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and data governance.
- Experience with data analytics and driving AI integration efforts will be an advantage.
- Experience managing IT in complex, multi-country, or regional environments preferred.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills at C-suite and board level.
