The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team and take ownership of critical user-facing features. You’ll work primarily on web development using NextJS, with potential involvement in our Expo-based mobile interfaces. This means you will be involved in nearly every user facing feature we develop as we implement the next generation of Social Media, prioritizing humanity at the core.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web interfaces using TypeScript, NextJS, and React
- Implement UI components following our shared design system using Tailwind CSS
- Collaborate with designers to implement detailed Figma designs with precision
- Contribute to our shared component libraries, design tokens, and icon systems
- Use GraphQL with React-Query for efficient data fetching and state management
- Write clean, maintainable code following our BiomeJS linting and formatting standards
- Participate in our CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and NextJS in production environments
- Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and component-based design systems
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs and data fetching libraries like React-Query
- Understanding of modern frontend build tools and workflows
- Comfortable with GitHub Actions and continuous integration processes
- Experience implementing designs from Figma with high fidelity
- Ability to work with shared code packages across web and mobile platforms
- Experience with Expo and React Native for mobile development
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration in frontend applications
- Previous work on content moderation interfaces or community platforms
- Contributions to open-source projects or design systems
- Experience working on larger scale products (>300k monthly active users)
