How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice

The creative team serves as the visual catalyst for Paula’s Choice. As a Graphic Designer, you have an opportunity to directly influence branding, content, and customer experiences across all channels.

You’ll be a key contributor to our brand’s visual identity across digital platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling, on-brand assets that elevate our campaigns and customer experience. This role blends creative ideation with hands-on execution, requiring a strong design eye, technical proficiency, and strategic thinking.

As a Graphic Designer, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Designing and producing digital assets for campaigns, promotions, and product launches across multiple channels including web, email, social media, paid media (both static and animated), and retail environments —ensuring a seamless and engaging direct-to-consumer experience.
  • Collaborating closely with Brand, Marketing, and DTC teams to strategize, refine, and optimize both new and existing collateral.
  • Driving the full creative process, from ideation through to final execution, ensuring assets align with overall design strategy.
  • Partnering with the creative team to develop campaigns and maintain consistent brand standards by adhering to established guidelines.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline asset production, boost efficiency, and improve quality.
  • Providing support to fellow creative team members as needed.
  • Staying up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continually elevate creative output.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

The Details

  • Location: We are based in Seattle, WA. While we prefer local candidates, we are flexible on location
  • Hours: Typical PST business hours, some flexibility required
  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time
  • Travel requirements: Minimal travel may be required for team meetings or events

What You’ll Bring To The Table

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns and marketing collateral
  • Professional experience with graphic animation and incorporating video into assets
  • Proven ability to create across 360°/multichannel campaigns
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong production skills with an ability to take direction and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to fully understand project scopes and articulate design concepts clearly

What Can Help You Really Stand Out

  • Working knowledge of UX/UI design and responsive web development
  • Experience in the cosmetics or skincare industry
  • Familiarity with AI-driven design tools and 3D design software

$85,000 - $90,000 USD/annually

Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
