Job Description

As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business forward by managing, developing, and optimizing critical business and commercial strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of the organization, ensuring the successful management of contracts, negotiating terms with stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. Your role will involve working closely with different departments, aligning commercial activities with business objectives, and providing strategic insights to enhance business performance. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical abilities, a keen understanding of market trends, and the ability to build strong relationships with partners and clients to support the growth and financial success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective commercial strategies across all business units.
  • Oversee contract negotiations with clients and suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
  • Monitor market trends to identify potential business opportunities and risks.
  • Lead the development of pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial goals with business objectives.
  • Manage commercial relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Analyze financial performance to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on commercial performance for senior management review.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial activities.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks to protect company interests and revenues.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members in commercial processes and negotiations.
  • Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and revenue growth potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience in a commercial management role preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a successful track record in contract management.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate market trends and financial data.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful commercial strategies.
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques is an advantage.
