We are looking for a skilled Senior Power BI Engineer to join our team.

Our customer is one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, operating in 189 countries with over 2000 brands. The company's diverse portfolio includes products such as bottled water, dairy products, breakfast cereals, coffee, confectionery, frozen food, pet foods, snacks, and baby food.

The project aims to build a scalable, analytics-ready data platform on Snowflake and Azure, integrating data from SAP and SharePoint. It focuses on harmonizing master and mapping data, creating validated datasets, and delivering optimized GOLD views for Power BI. The initiative also emphasizes automation, governance, and performance optimization to enable reliable, data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Build data models, define DAX measures, and optimize dataflows for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across multiple data sources.
  • Develop automated data refresh processes, optimize Power BI datasets, and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Contribute to data architecture improvements and recommend best practices for Power BI governance.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and review deliverables for accuracy and performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, or similar).
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources (APIs, Excel, Azure Data Lake, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Experience implementing Power BI governance or Center of Excellence models.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification or equivalent credentials.
