Job Role – Data Scientist

Location – Gurgaon

Experience – 3 to 12 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Python, SQL, and PySpark to handle large-scale financial datasets, perform feature engineering, and build robust fraud models.
• Drive the end-to-end fraud modeling lifecycle including data exploration, model building, validation, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, risk teams, and product owners to align fraud detection strategies with organizational goals.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI frameworks and technologies to incorporate innovative approaches into fraud detection.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance policies in model development and deployment.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Expertise in Python, SQL, and PySpark for data manipulation, model development, and large-scale data processing.

• Proven experience leading large, multi-disciplinary data science teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of predictive modelling techniques including classification, anomaly detection, ensemble methods, and time-series analysis.
• Experience working with transaction data, payment systems, and fraud risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
